What a way to celebrate the Fourth of July!

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Grammy-nominated violinist Jenny Oats Baker came together to create their own version of “Amazing Grace” just in time for the patriotic holiday.

Rice and Baker posted a video of their rendition of the classic song on YouTube. It received over 500,000 views in two days.

Rice played the piano, and Baker fiddled on her violin. The video features images of heroes protecting America.

“Amazing Grace has always held a special place in my heart,” Rice said on her Facebook page. “It seemed only appropriate to release the video in conjunction with the 4th of July weekend as we recognize the blessings we have in this country and the sacrifices of our servicemen and women for our freedom.”

Rice and Baker’s rendition is available on iTunes. Proceeds are being donated to the Wounded Warriors Project, a charity that aims to help veterans and service members wounded physically or mentally.
