The shooting in Las Vegas is the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. At least 59 people were killed, and more than 500 others injured.
On Sunday night, Stephen Pollack brought almost two dozen guns to the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The 64-year-old gunman then opened fire on a crowd of more than 20,000 concertgoers below. The country music concert was happening across the street from the hotel. Police say the gunman fired for nine to 11 minutes.
Police say they found Pollack dead when they arrived at his hotel room. They believe he killed himself. Police added that they believe he acted alone. His motive is unknown.
The FBI says that Pollack has no connection to an international terrorist group.
