Trader Joes and Walmart Recall Vegetables For Contamination

Walmart and Trader Joe’s shoppers, if you bought any recent vegetables at either retail store, there has been a recall for contamination. California-based Mann Packing says Listeria was found in one of their processed vegetable packages. Nine vegetable products at Walmart including cauliflower, broccoli, and vegetable medleys. Trader Joe’s has only Kohlrabi Salad Blend.
Mann Packing is contacting all affected customers to get items off the shelves.
Customers are encouraged to throw away the products or return them for a full refund. The recall includes products in U.S. and Canada with “best if used by” dates from Oct. 11 to Oct. 20.
Listeria can cause immediate illness and infection. Public health officials have not reported any illnesses associated with the products. For more details about the recall visit veggiesmadeeasy.com/products.
