That’s hot. So watch out Paris Hilton. The way the globe is heating up, Mother Nature might be stealing your catch phrase. Increased global temperatures are to blame for melting of India’s largest glacier. The Kolahoi glacier is melting at a rapid pace, which could potentially harm the water supply of tens of thousands of Indian residents. The University of Kashmir has discovered that the glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. This is an immediate threat to surrounding bodies of water. The Jhelum River is fed by the Kolahoi glacier which is a main water supply for the people of Kashmir.
