Tea Party Convention Hits Nashville
By Abbey Niezgoda — It’s a controversial tea party taking the political world by storm. The inaugural national tea party convention drew almost 6- hundred people to Nashville.
The group’s goal is to elect a conservative congress and president come 2012. The activists say no party shares their views when it comes to limited government and individual liberty.
One of the faces of tea party nation is former vice president nominee Sarah Palin. She told the conference America is ready for another revolution. Organizers say this year they hope to make the tea party a serious political force.
