Connect With The Stars

This is the place where you can make yourself a star….well, almost. This is the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is located on Hollywood and Highland right in font of Grauman’s Chinese Theater. You can see the handprints and footprints of stars like Meryl Streep, Mel Gibson, Will Smith, George Clooney, Matt Damon and even John Wayne. John Wayne won a best actor statue in 1970 DSC_0053.JPGfor playing Rooster Cogburn, a gunslinging bounty hunter in “True Grit.” This year Jeff Bridges is nominated for playing the same charater in the Coen Brother’s remake.
You can also see celebrity impersonators who regularly entertain tourists in front of the Theater. Impersonators of Michael Jackson often moonwalked over the real Michael Jackson’s star. Other impersonators include Luke Skywalker, Chucky the killer doll, Gostface killer from the Scream movies, and a dueling Superman and Batman. Mary Poppins also usually stops by.
