Yogi Berra Taken Away In Ambulance

85-year-old Yogi Berra was brought to a hospital in Clearwater, Florida this afternoon. Sources said the Yankees Hall-Of-Famer fell on his backside after catching one of his sneakers on the carpet in the New York Yankees clubhouse. Berra was visiting the Bright House Field to watch the Yankees take on the Philadelphia Phillies.
Few people at the ballpark were aware that this had occurred and were only told that there was a “medical emergency.” The ambulance pulled out of Bright House Field around noon and left on-lookers with many questions. Yankees manager Joe Girardi and general manager Brian Cashman spoke to a few journalists outside the clubhouse about the incident. The two told the press that Berra was getting a bowl of soup when he fell but that he was doing alright.
Berra was released from the hospital around 4 p.m. today and is reported to be feeling fine.
