Thousands Are Waiting For The Derby

The 137th Kentucky Derby is less than an hour away. The 19 jockeys are preparing their horses for what some consider the most exciting two minutes in sports. Nearly 165,000 Derby fans have gathered in 70-degree weather at Churchill Downs for the thoroughbred race. Dialed In appears to be the current favorite. He has 5-1 odds. His jockey is Julien Leparoux while Nick Zito is his trainer.

The social media world is abuzz with live updates from Churchill Downs now more so than in past years at the Kentucky Derby. Twitter users are using the hashtags #KYDerby and #KentuckyDerby to share info, photos and videos.
