Logistics At Occupy Boston
By Markus Garcia — 10/12/2011
“We’re here for the long haul,” said Philip Anderson, a media representative for the protest group Occupy Boston. Anderson says the group will continue to protest until there is “real systemic change.”
Anderson says the group is able to continue protesting, because of its logistics branch. The branch is responsible for all of the finances and needs of the protestors. Members of Occupy Boston who work in logistics say that they have been receiving more donations than they can handle. These donations consists of money, food, and clothing.
Anderson says the logistics branch is getting ready for winter by buying subzero sleeping bags, hats, gloves and blankets and anything else that may be needed in order to survive the harsh weather months.
