The All-New Governor’s Ball

Governor’s Ball Producer Cheryl Ceccheto is calling this year’s after party the “moveable ball.”
Ceccheto has drawn her inspiration from Mediterranean architecture. She has done away with reserved seating and a formal three course meal. Instead, guests can choose from different styles of seating to lounge with their friends and enjoy the aura meant for partying and mingling.
There are over twenty small bites to nibble. There will be a wide range of food from lobster tacos to chicken pot pie. So, it’s hard to image there won’t be small tapas everyone can enjoy.
Today’s Food and Champagne Showcase gave people a taste of what will make the Governor’s Ball come alive on Sunday. Wolfgang Puck was cooking up a storm. He displayed his signature chocolate Oscars were dusted in 24 karat gold.
This year’s musical line up includes legendary singer Tony Bennett and jazz musician Dave Koz.
This year, Cecchto claims that everything is different and if it doesn’t work out, next year’s event can go back to tradition. However the Governor’s Ball is still a few steps away from the Kodak Theater. After the award show, Oscar winners can do two things at the Governor’s Ball…eat and get their Oscar man engraved with their very own name.
