The Massachusetts Nature Conservancy has three new Board of Trustees.

The non-profit organization appointed Thomas Jones from Andover as its new board chair.  He is the president of eLanes, a food service company based in North Andover. Jones is replacing environmental attorney Jeff Porter who served as board chair for four years.

The other new trustees are Maura Fitzgerald from Boston, CEO of Version 2.0 Communications and William R. Moomaw from Medford, the founding director of the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy at Tufts University.

The Nature Conservancy is a charitable environmental organization that works to protect the land and waters of the United States. The Massachusetts branch of the organization is located in Boston with five district offices across the state.
