Boston’s SpotHoles Campaign
By Felecia Bearden 3-13-13
Spring is just around the corner. And so is the Boston Public Works Construction Unit in South Boston. The crew is working around the clock to fill potholes in the city’s streets. But the Unit needs help finding where the trouble spots are.
“We are trying to encourage the public to help us identity potholes,” Public Works Commissioner Joanne Massaro told WEBN Boston today on D Street where a crew was filling potholes.
So make sure to call the Mayor’s Hotline at 617-835-4500 or tweet @notifyboston #spotholes to report any potholes you see.
This is a part of the SpotHoles Campaign to get the streets safer for drivers and residents before the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Southie.
