Boston Menino Calls It Quits

Mayor Menino is out.

Those four words signal the end of an era here in Boston. Mayor Thomas Menino has led the city for almost 20 years. And now, he plans to announce tomorrow at Faneuil Hall that this will be his final term in office.

The story has exploded throughout the city while sources have scrambled to confirm the Mayor’s health is keeping him from running for re-election.

Recently City Councilor John Connolly had announced he is running for mayor.
