Look for pinstripes on a Red Sox favorite.
Sources say free-agent Jacoby Ellsbury has agreed to a New York Yankees $153 million dollar contract. It appears to be a 7 year no-trade deal pending a physical.Ellsbury was with the Sox through the 2007 and 2013 World Series Championships. He had a career year in 2011 when he hit a high of 32 home-runs and drove in 105 runs.

Ellsbury is expected to take over as the Yankees everyday center fielder. Brett Gardner slides over to left field, and Alfonso Soriano will play in right.
The deal runs parallel to the Yankees signing of Red Sox player Johnny Damon after the 2004 World Series. The Yankees have now made two, big free-agent splashes. The other is catcher Brian McCann.
