Pirates and Blue Jays Get Rained Out

The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced that its spring training game against the Toronto Blue Jays has been cancelled.

Rain has been coming down hard since early this morning and according to weather reports, it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop. It was reported that the Blue Jays busses had left the team’s facilities in Dunedin on time, leading fans to believe that the game might happen.

Pirates players were seen in uniform taking batting practice in the cages starting at 10:00am, but at 12:15pm the team announced the cancellation ending all hopes for a game. As of right now there is no time set for a makeup date.
