It’s crunch time for the Bruins.
With one month left in the NHL regular season, the Bruins continue its hunt for the league’s best record.
The team has won seven straight games (before 3/15 Carolina game) and sit atop the Eastern Conference with 93 points. It’s only four points behind the St. Louis Blues for the league lead. Boston’s stellar offense is tops in the East with 3.15 goals per game. The stalwart defense, led by captain Zdeno Chara and newly acquired Andrei Mezsaros, gives up a 2.15 goal per game, good for second in the entire NHL. 10 of the team’s last 16 games are on the road, but with an 18-10-3 road record, there is little cause for concern.
The B’s should have no problem cruising into the playoffs with the Conference’s best record.
