Whether you pre-ordered or picked it up at the store, it was only a matter of time before the monstrosity known as the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus, reached the hands of millions of buyers.

The phone stirred a craze among Apple consumers worldwide.

Produced with innovative technologies in an all-new dramatically thin and seamless design, the new iPhones feature a precision unibody enclosure of anodized aluminum that conforms seamlessly with the shaped glass of the display, resulting in a completely smooth and continuous surface.

Apple CEO Tim Cook says, “iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the biggest advancements in iPhone history.”

For the first time iPhone is available in two new sizes: iPhone 6 features a stunning 4.7-inch Retina HD display, providing 38 percent more viewing area than iPhone 5s, while iPhone 6 Plus features an even bigger 5.5-inch Retina HD display with resolution, providing 88 percent more viewing area than iPhone 5s.

The Apple Store on Boylston Street has received people from all over looking to buy the new phone. Tracey Pools, a Paralegal from St. Louis, was in Boston and was excited with her updated technology.

“I kind of love the new iPhone 6 Plus already just because I can read things on it without putting on my second set of eyes right away,” said Pools.

However, the size has become a disappointment for others.

“Really enjoying my iPhone 6 Plus so far. The only con is that it’s not the most comfortable in my front pocket, which was kind of expected,” admitted Software Engineer, Douglas Bodkin.

Not all news has been good for Apple. The company has seen an uproar after people reported their iPhone 6 Plus bending.

Chris Smith an Australian native vacationing in Boston said, “I think Apple can fix this new iPhone problem very easily. Just rename it ‘The iPhone Flex.’”

Apple addressed the issues around the construction of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, stating, “With normal use a bend in iPhone is extremely rare and through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus.”
