It is important to feel powerful on the inside and on the outside when searching for a job. The Powerful Women Empowering Women Fashion Show teamed up with Dress for Success Boston and created an event that encourages women to look great while job-hunting.
Kim Todd, the executive director of Dress for Success Boston says, “It is important for women to look nice and get dressed up for job interviews because if a woman looks and feels good on the outside, they will feel good on the inside.”
The Powerful Women Empowering Women Fashion Show is part of the Boston Fashion Week Program. The event took place at the Royale on Tremont Street. The main fashion designer for the event was Denise Hajjar and her line of clothing supporting women of all shapes and sizes. The models were plus sized, older, tall, short and thin.
The show started with a reception and a silent auction. Directly after the auction, the fashion portion began, with models dancing and strutting down the runway showcasing Hajjar’s designs. The final part of the show was a reception where guests were welcomed to shop the collection, with 15 percent of all sales going to Dress for Success Boston.
