Too Many Mistakes Down the BC Eagles

By Harris Rubenstein

It was a game that left a bad taste in the mouth.

Too many drops and missed opportunities plagued a Boston College team that thad a legitimate chance of upsetting 24th ranked Clemson in Chestnut Hill. With 1:11 left in the game RB Tyler Rouse dropped a would be go ahead TD that would have put the Eagles up 20-17 after the extra point.

Another missed chance to take control of the game came after a missed extra point which would have put the Eagles up 14-10. Instead, it took away the chance for them to potentially kick a game tying field goal later in the game.

It’s an unfortunate loss for a team that desperately needed a big win after a crushing loss to Colorado State, a game in which they led with with a little over a minute to play.

Boston College goes to Wake Forest next week in an ACC matchup with the 2-5 Demon Deacons.
