Seth Moulton beat Richard Tisei for the sixth district congressional seat in Massachusetts. Massachusetts elected Democrats to its Congress seats for the past 91 elections; that is every election since 1996. That streak was threatened tonight, as Tisei was a strong contender to beat out Moulton. Still, the streak survived another cycle. Tisei thanked Moulton in his concession speech for a good race. Tisei’s supporters gathered at Kowloon, a restaurant in Saugus, to await results and show support for his campaign.
