The Boston Bruins continue to fight injuries to several key players. Chara, Marchand, Kelly, Krejci and McQuaid are five of the many players on the Bruins injured list.
Boston has many injuries to so many key players, one wonders how the Bruins could survive calling up many young players from Providence and competing against deep, talented rosters such as Carolina and St. Louis. But believe it or not, the rookies have stepped up for Boston, with names such as Alexander Khokhlachev, Seth Griffith and Jordan Caron quickly becoming household names.
Last offseason, the Bruins released Shawn Thornton, and stated that they were looking to get away from the slower big hitters and bring in faster talent with better hands. In a league of speed, this is why the rookies are doing so well. Their youth, agility and quickness help to get back on their feet and their speed kills opposing defenses.
The team should continue to improve as their veterans come back and start mixing with the young guns. As a Bruins fan, you’d be lying if you said you don’t want to see more out of Seth Griffith. Griffith has had two goals so far that ESPN has called a “Goal of the year”, and he continues to move the puck at a rate the team can certainly live with. Once the vets get healthy, Griffith will be given more chances to shine.
Don’t count the Bruins out just yet. They are doing just fine considering half the major talent is sitting in a suite each night. If the rookies can continue to supply goals and have strong offensive rushes they will be just fine. The Bruins are down, but not out.
I think this is among the most important information for me. And i’m glad reading your article. But want to remark on few general things, The web site style is wonderful, the articles is really nice : D. Good job, cheers
