Trump receives endorsement from Sarah Palin

Another popular GOP figure is endorsing the CEO Donald Trump. Former Alaska Gov. and 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin gave her support to the Republican front runner in an Iowa campaign stop on Tuesday.
“Looking around at all of you, you hard working Iowa families, you farm families and teachers and teamsters and cops and cooks, you rock and rollers and holy rollers!” Palin said. “You all make the world go around and now our cause is one.”
Palin’s support could really help the CEO in Iowa, where he’s tied with Ted Cruz to win the Feb. 1 caucuses that are typically controlled by conservatives.
Cruz did not seem phased by Palin’s support of Trump, saying, “Regardless of what Sarah decides to do in 2016, I will always remain a big, big fan.”
Cruz does, however, believe that Palin supporting Trump will backfire on her, saying “Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who’s held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion.”
There will be an official endorsement as well as a joint appearance in Tulsa Oklahoma on Wednesday.
