President Trump attacks ex-FBI officials James Comey and Andrew McCabe on Twitter Monday after Comey was interviewed on national television while promoting his new book.
On Sunday night’s ABC interview with Comey, he talked about his new book, A Higher Loyalty, that was released on Tuesday. In A Higher Loyalty, Comey declares Trump is morally unfit to be the president.
Trump’s tweet on Monday’s called out Comey and McCabe for committing “many crimes.” He specifically accused Comey of drafting Hillary’s exoneration for using her private email server for government emails before talking to her. Trump also blamed Comey in the tweet of basing his decisions in the Hillary Clinton investigation on her poll numbers.
