Former New York Representative Anthony Weiner is scheduled to leave prison three months earlier than his initial set date in August 2019.

The federal court sentenced Weiner to a 21 month prison term in May 2017 after he pleaded guilty to one charge of sharing sexually explicit messages and pictures to a minor between January and March 2016.

Weiner resigned from his representative position in 2011 after the release of sexually explicit text messages with a number of women. While running for New York City Mayor in 2013, more sexting scandals broke out before he lost the race.

“This projected release date includes credit for good conduct time earned and good conduct time that may be earned throughout the remainder of his sentence,” stated a statement released by the Bureau of Prisoners to CNN.
