13 are Dead After California Shooting
By Abigail Royle 11/08/2018
A shooting tragedy once again hit the country. This time it is in Thousand Oaks, California at a country western music bar filled with college students. The suspect is a former Marine who is suspected of having had post traumatic syndrome disease. He is accused of using a Glock 45-caliber gun to kill 13 people including himself and a deputy sheriff. Last April authorities had been called to his home because of a disturbance but decided that he was okay. A few years ago he had been detained because of a bar fight.
Some of those in the bar had been survivors of the Las Vegas mass shooting. This tragedy comes 11 days after the Pittsburgh synagogue mass shooting.
