The Boston College Eagles are bowl bound.
Steve Addazio’s team will head down to Dallas to take on the 25th ranked Boise State Broncos in the Servpro First Responders Bowl as the Cotton Bowl. The game will take place the day after Christmas on December 26th with kickoff set for 1:30. Steve Addazio’s team limps into the contest having lost their last three games. Boise State comes in at 10-3 on the season having lost the Mountain West Championship Game at home to Fresno State.
Boston College will look to put a bow on a season that started with promise and ended with disappointment. On November 10th, things were looking up for BC as they were ranked 17th at 7-2 , hosted College Gameday, and controlled their own destiny in the ACC. Less than a month later the Eagles are at 7-5 and looking to salvage a season that saw big improvements from both Anthony Brown and AJ Dillon. The game will be the last time seniors such as Wyatt Ray, Zach Allen, Jeff Smith, and Tommy Sweeney don the maroon and gold.
