The New England Patriots have made history. They beat the Bills 24-12 today in Foxborough to clinch their tenth consecutive AFC East Title. That made New England the first team to accomplish the feat in NFL history.
The Bills proved to be a sizable challenge for the struggling Patriots who came into the game after losing two straight.

Tom Brady has been dealing with a knee injury and it showed as he threw for only 126 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. The Patriots rushed for 273 yards– the most in the Bill Belichick era. Sony Michel lead the way with 116 yards and one score.

All eyes were on the Patriots receivers since Josh Gordon has been suspended. The trio of Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett, and Rob Gronkowski were invisible as all three were held without a catch. The Patriots defense played well forcing 3 turnovers and allowing less that 300 yards of total offense.
In addition to the win, the Patriots also got help on the day from an unlikely place. The Eagles beat the Texans allowing the Patriots to secure the two seed in the AFC.

If the Patriots beat the Jets next week they will clinch the two seed and a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
