The Patriots continue to make history.

New England set an NFL record by advancing to their 8th consecutive AFC Championship Game. Today, the Pats beat the Los Angeles Chargers 41-28 in the AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium.

By halftime, the Patriots had jumped all over the Chargers, getting out to a 35-7 lead. Tom Brady led the way throwing for 343 yards and 1 touchdown. They established the run with Sony Michel rushing for 3 touchdowns. James White tied an NFL record with 15 receptions while Julian Edelman registered 151 yards receiving.

The Patriots’ next challenge will be the following Sunday on the Kansas City Chiefs’ turf at Arrowhead. This weekend the Chiefs knocked out the Colts in their Divisional Game.

In Week 6 of this regular season, the Patriots beat the Chiefs 43-30.

The Patriots hope to advance to their third consecutive Super Bowl Game– their ninth Super Bowl Game in 18 years.
