The NFC’s two best teams will battle for a spot in the Super Bowl. On Sunday, the New Orleans Saints will host the Los Angeles Rams.
The matchup features the NFC’s two highest-scoring offenses. The Rams are coming off a convincing Divisional Round win over the Dallas Cowboys in which both Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson rushed for more than 100 yards. The Saints are coming off a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Saints and Rams met in November. The Saints won 45-35.
Both teams will be without key contributors. Cooper Kupp is out for the Rams and Benjamin Watson is out for the Saints.
This time around, the run game could play a big role. Both teams have dominant duos in the backfield. The Rams have Gurley and Anderson, and the Saints have Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara. Whichever team can control the line of scrimmage could be on their way to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII.
