The Browns are making moves. Cleveland acquired Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants in exchange for Jabrill Peppers, the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, as well as a third round pick in this year’s draft.

Beckham Jr. played in 12 games last season. He registered his fourth 1,000-yard season to go along with six touchdowns. Beckham will be paired with longtime friend and former college teammate Jarvis Landry, who fell just short of 1,000 yards last season.

The Beckham trade is a move among many as the Browns look to end their postseason drought. Cleveland has not been to the playoffs since 2002 and are turning to Baker Mayfield to change the organization’s fortunes. Excitement is building around the Browns offense which also includes David Njoku, Antonio Callaway, Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

The Browns have also beefed up on defense by adding Sheldon Richardson and Olivier Vernon.
