Angels star center fielder Mike Trout is not going anywhere.

The two time MVP landed a 12-year $426.4 million deal to keep him in an Angels uniform through 2030. He was drafted by the Angels in 2009.
This makes him the highest paid player in MLB history.

Trout will be making an average annual salary of $36 million. He has been on the all-star team seven times.

This offseason, Anaheim signed Jonathan Lucroy, Matt Harvey, Trevor Cahill and Justin Bour in an attempt to make it back to the playoffs.

The Angels open the season against the Texas Rangers on Apr. 4 at home.
