Andrew Yang has suspended his presidential campaign following a poor turnout in the New Hampshire primary.
“The decision was pretty clear,” Yang’s campaign manager said in an interview. “It doesn’t feel honest to keep taking money and enthusiasm from our supporters, but also from the Democratic Party.”
Yang campaigned on a platform that mainly advocated for Universal Basic Income. He also platformed issues such as automation, autism and disability, and technology.
Yang is set to speak at 8:15pm.
