For the first time in nearly a year, some Brockton students will be able to attend in person classes.
This school district closed its doors 49 weeks ago.
The district is welcoming back special education students will start hybrid learning this Tuesday, with the rest of the student body being welcomed back next month. The next week will see students at school one day a week, before transitioning to two days a week (and three days online) by March 2nd.
Staff and students are required to wear masks inside the building. Classrooms have been limited to 25% capacity, and the district has installed air purification systems for each room.
Brockton remains one of the highest covid-infected towns, with a consistent daily positive rate of 5%.
