Massachusetts Pre Registration Program to Include New Locations

This Wednesday, Governor Baker announced the latest expansion to Massachusetts’ vaccination program. The state will gain three new vaccination sites in addition to the seven existing ones.

During his tour of the Oceanside Events Center in Revere, the Governor stated that his administration will continue to allow for Mass. residents to pre register for appointments at the current vaccination facilities, as well as the new locations in Bangs Community Center located in Amherst, The Northampton Senior Center in Northampton, and the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield.

The Governor has been vaccinated and urges Mass. Residents to follow suit.

Vaccines are letting family see their friends and family that they haven’t been able to see in months, and, this week, many elementary schools across the commonwealth that were remote only returned to the classroom,” Baker noted during his press conference.

The update to the month-old pre registration program is one of the latest features to be included in the new program. The Baker administration is working closely with regional programs and facilities across the state  and will hopefully add more sites to the pre registration website soon.

The state is currently in the first step of the 4th phase of its COVID reopening plan, with more than 1.6 million people fully vaccinated. Starting April 19th, residents aged 16 and older will be eligible to participate in the vaccination program.
