Boston and other areas of central and eastern Massachusetts are expected to have unseasonably warm weather this Friday. The National Weather Service recently predicted highs of just over 70 degrees. However, the sunny weather won’t last long.

A cold front is forecasted to come in overnight, with temperatures as low as 45 degrees in the Boston area. This will be followed by a 90% chance of rain on Saturday accompanied by a high of 54 degrees.

The daily record for temperature highs on March 18 was set in 2017 with a high of 74 degrees. Meteorologists are saying there is a possibility of this record being broken on Friday. Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts.
