Rescue crews are searching the water near Boston Seaport Monday after a car drove off a dock in the area.
Boston police said they received a call around 10:26 p.m. that the car hit “multiple things” in the shipyard off Summer Street before descending into the water.
Firefighters, police, and the Coast Guard began the search for any survivors overnight, remaining on scene into the morning. Several search boats are assisting and a crane was brought in to aid the search. An ambulance was seen arriving at the dock just before 9 a.m., and crews were seen taking out a stretcher.
No additional information has been released.
