2024 Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is sending his forty-person staff to work in key primary states, New Hampshire and Iowa. The Republican’s current headquarters resides in Columbus, Ohio.
Ramaswamy campaign staffers found out about the relocation on Saturday morning. The candidate has recently leased an apartment in Iowa and has begun rental house hunting in New Hampshire.
Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for the Ramaswamy campaign, told NBC News, “We are capitalizing off the momentum of the third debate — we’re investing the money into the early states and now the time, resources and people. We’re excited to barnstorm the early states.”
The staff will move back to their headquarters in Ohio following the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire primary, according to McLaughlin. The campaign recently spent over 10 million dollars on advertising in the two states.
In the latest Emerson College Polling survey of 2024 GOP Primary candidates, Ramaswamy polled at 3%. The candidate spent the weekend at various campaign stops across New Hampshire. Next week, he plans on making 20 stops in Iowa.
