Multiple inches of snow is predicted for parts of New England this Tuesday. The most intense snow is expected to be along New England’s coast. Connecticut, Rhode Island, Boston, the South Shore, and the southern parts of Cape Cod are looking at 3-6 inches of snow.
Heavy winds and coastal flooding are also possible companions of the upcoming snow, especially in areas along the coast. Tuesday’s high tide occurs at the foreseen start time of the snowstorm, increasing the chances of flooding.
Opposing the chance of snow is February’s above-average temperatures. With recent temperatures in the mid-40s, snow may have difficulty accumulating.
