Male suspect in connection to the David Ortiz shooting found dead

According to a report, a male suspect was accused of organizing the shooting of Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz, who was found dead in the Dominican Republic.
In December, Victor Hugo Gomez Vasquez went missing, and on Jan. 10, his body was found, according to Boston.com, making this the second death of a suspect in connection to this case.
Furthermore, another arrest was made in this case on Tuesday of this week. María Fernanda Villasmil Manzanilla, 25, of Venezuela, was taken into custody by Interpol.
On June 9, 2019, Ortiz, also known as Big Papi, was shot by a gunman in his native country, the Dominican Republic. On behalf of the Hall-of-Famer, his attorney spoke out to NBC10 Boston on Thursday.
“She’s accused of association with wrongdoers, she’s accused of having been in the vehicle with of the accused on the day of the attack,” Lucy Objio said. “We don’t know if she was part of the plan, but she was at the day of the attack.”
