Enmanuel Valdez hits a 3-run homer for an Easter Sunday win

Enmanuel Valdez hit a home run during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Mariners. The hit brought in three runs. Valdez is a fill-in second baseman for Vaughn Grissom, who is injured.
This was Valdez’s first hit after eight at bats, hitting a drive to right field in the fourth inning. His hit earned three of Boston’s five runs.
Tyler O’Neil hit a solo homerun in the second inning, while Reese McGuire had an RBI groundout in the sixth inning.
Valdez was named player of the game. The Red Sox will play away against the Oakland Athletics tonight at 9:40 p.m. EST.
