Nor’easter closing in with rain and wind expected
By Hollie Raposo
A Nor’easter storm is arriving Wednesday night, coming with a high intensity of wind and rain across the coast of Massachusetts. Moving from the Gulf of Maine and Cape Cod, the storm is set to continue into Friday.
Some snow precipitation is reaching Worcester County and southern New Hampshire. Forecasts are calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow and even up to 3 to 5 inches.
Coastal flooding is predicted from New Hampshire to Boston with only minor to moderate flooding. This storm won’t compare to the flooding that occurred in January and March without high tide. The storm will lead into showers for the weekend, with some sunshine Saturday and Sunday.
The storm is expected to start late Wednesday and end by mid-morning Thursday. North Easterners can anticipate a return to regular temperatures of 30 degrees next week.
