Celtics win game one in the postseason
By Audrey Coleman
The Celtics held on to the win against the Miami Heat on Sunday, April 24. The Celtics were up all afternoon, but faced a fourth quarter charge from the Heat. In the final quarter, Miami brought the Celtic’s 34-point lead to 15 points without the Celtics regaining possession.
Also in the fourth quarter, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum was sent to the ground. While rebounding Miami’s Bam Adebayo’s missed shot, Miami’s Caleb Martin came in from Tatum’s side, forcing him to the ground, landing on his tailbone.
Still, the Celtics pulled off the win. Game two in the Celtics-Heat run will tip off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in Boston.
