Just a year after being drafted by the Red Sox, Kristian Campbell has climbed the minor league ladder and now sits at the top. The sleeper hitter was awarded Eastern League MVP and Minor League Player of the Year by Baseball America.

The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket started his journey with High-A Greenville, before moving to Double-A Portland. His standout performance with the Portland Sea Dogs (17 doubles, eight home runs, 35 RBI, .362 average) earned him a spot on Triple-A Worcester – one step from the majors.

Campbell’s August debut with the Woo Sox only further spotlighted his undeniable talent, starting his Triple-A career going two for five with three RBIs, three consecutive multi-hit games.

As a result of his outstanding first year in the minors, the 22-year-old has been ranked 24th best prospect by Baseball America’s Top 100 list, after debuting at 89. If Campbell’s remarkable stint continues, he could find himself in the majors come 2025.
