Investigators Discover Cause of Beacon Street Fire

Investigators announced this morning that the fire at 298 Beacon Street in Boston that killed two firefighters last week was caused by welders working at the back of the building.

Fallen Firefighter Michael Kennedy Laid to Rest

Fallen Boston firefighter Michael Kennedy was honored by his family, friends, and companions Thursday morning during a funeral service in West Roxbury. Kennedy was one of the two fallen heroes who died battling a 9-alarm fire in the city’s Back Bay area last week.
