India Hosts Global Sustainability Summit

This past weekend several world leaders gathered in New Delhi for the Delhi Sustainable Development Sumit. The conference promoted new strategies to push forward the sutainable development agenda after the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. Some of the issues discussed included accelerating socioeconomic development and effective climate governance. Financing opportunities after Copenhagen and the role of technology were also hot topics. The summit also called for a global effort to minimize the impact of climate change.
