East Meets West With An Environmental Twist

Shubrah is an up and coming designer from India. She mixes the East with the West with a collection of scarves, clothing, and accessories for men and women. Shubrah is inspired by vibrant colors and the “go green” movement. All of her pieces are created with recyclable materials, 100% pure silks and cottons.
Her fashions are based on websites to save plastics and paper. Most of her proceeds are donated to Indian charities. She premiered her Fall/Winter 2010 line at Tantric Boston. The line included men’s shirts and women’s dressed and scarves of all colors. From the purples to the lime greens Shubrah showed that you don’t have to stay wearing neutral colors this season.
