There was no public transportation in the city and there was a driving ban. So creativity was the way to get around.

Boston Resident Gram Pallet did not let the lack of transportation keep him indoors. Pallet skied to the Boston Commons this afternoon and he believes the winter sport is the best way to get around the city.

“It’s a great opportunity, there’s no traffic,” Pallet said. “You own the city. It’s fantastic.”

Winter Storm Nemo hit Boston yesterday morning and left this afternoon.

Plows are still out helping to clear roads for the morning commute on Monday.
