Hillary Clinton might be pulling away from Donald Trump in key battleground states.
CNN’s new battleground state polls show the Democratic nominee leading in the crucial swing states of Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and North Carolina.
Election Day just hours away, Clinton is shown as having a 5-point lead (47% to 42%) in Pennsylvania over Republican nominee Donald Trump. Most pundits believe that if Trump loses Pennsylvania, he will not reach the necessary 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
In New Hampshire, she is shown as having a 44% to 41% advantage over Trump. However, only 85% of the state’s likely voters have made up their minds. The poll states that both candidates “will end the election cycle historically unpopular among New Hampshire voters,” with Clinton having a -14% favorability rating, and Trump having a -36% favorability rating.
North Carolina is even closer, with Clinton leading but Trump close behind (45% to 43%). Clinton holds a 23% lead with the state’s young voters (18-34-year-olds), and has 86% of support from African Americans.
In Florida, Clinton and Trump are deadlocked at 45%. Its 29 delegates are known to have decided elections in the past.
