Three killed in shootings over the weekend in Boston

Gun violence in the city of Boston last weekend led to three lives lost. The Boston Police Department claims the first victim of the weekend marked the city’s 31st homicide this year.
On Saturday, October 22, the first deadly shooting of the weekend occurred on Baird Street. Daniel Sanders, 36 years old, was shot and wounded around 1 A.M. He was immediately brought to the hospital for care, but was pronounced dead that evening.
On Sunday, 33-year-old Jasmine Burrell was shot and killed on Fairlawn Avenue around 5 A.M. Burrell is survived by her family and children. Later in the day, the community hosted a vigil for her, while the time the police station responded to their third call of the weekend.
On Geneva Avenue in Dorchester, Police officers found a man wounded by gunshots. He passed away in the hospital. Totaling three shootings and three victims, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing. The Boston Police Department urges community members to reach out with information regarding these events.
