Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, is donating $100 million to the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism. Kraft is matching a donation from the Norman and Ruth Rales Foundation, for a combined pledge of $200 million dollars.

Kraft established the foundation in 2019 after winning Israel’s Genesis Prize, also known as the Jewish Nobel Prize.

In a statement released by the non-profit, the donation will help expand the efforts of the foundation and sustain it, “for years to come.” The Rales Foundation received praise from Kraft, who said their donation was “an example for how to courageously stand arm in arm and fight the battle against hate meaningfully and thoughtfully.”

Kraft, who grew up in an observant Jewish home, said in a recent statement, “Fighting this hate will be the most meaningful and fulfilling action of my life.”
